Reimagining “Modern Cabaret”
Melody, the Creative Director is a Tony-nominated Broadway performer, award-winning choreographer, and creative powerhouse. Professional sports and global stages are not only in her DNA but flood her resume. Dancing and choreographing for the NBA and NFL, Melody has impressed audiences all over the U.S. as well as Iraq, Kuwait, China, Korea, and the Philippines. She has shared the stage with iconic artists such as Rihanna, Jay-Z, Kayne West, and Shakira. Her light shines both in front of the camera and behind the table as a heavy hitting creative in TV, film, music videos, commercials, and live entertainment. From vision to concept, Melody’s capacity encompasses training, development, and leadership as she continues to produce meaningful art.
Douglas Tappin
Douglas, the Artistic Director and brilliant British musical theatre and opera writer/composer. A veteran in producing theatre, his productions have been staged in London, U.K. and the U.S. at The Apollo Theater, The John F. Kennedy Center, and The Belk and Knight Theaters. His background includes leading and developing business affairs for Zomba/Jive International Music Group and Universal/Island Music Group allowing collaborations with Justin Timberlake, *NSYNC, Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears, and U2. His genius stretches across the board as he has two projects currently in Broadway development as well as Executive Directing The Musical Dramatic Arts Foundation.
